Our Team.

Nick Arsenault touched the lives of many people, and since we couldn’t imagine living in a world without him, a group of friends and family came together to create The Nick Project in January 2022. Our purpose is to ensure he continues to touch the lives of as many people as possible. Our team is based in Canmore Alberta (Nick’s home for the last 15 years) and Moncton New Brunswick (where he was born and raised).

Mission Statement.

The Nick Project is a not-for-profit dedicated to providing opportunities for youth development and community connection. We aim to undertake projects and initiatives that empower local youth to pursue passion and interest in the area of music, skateboarding, snowboarding, and outdoor activities, with a focus on youth of lower socioeconomic status who may not otherwise have access to resources for such activities. We believe in equal opportunities for all youth to thrive and access their limitless potential.

Our Goals.

Through various fundraising initiatives and grants, The Nick Project will provide monetary or tangible gifts to youth from low income backgrounds or to marginalised communities. Our projects are picked based on what the community needs are, but are still within the realm of music and outdoor recreation. We hope to work in conjunction with youth-based initiatives and schools to support and empower youth in these areas.

‘Nick and I waiting for the Blackcomb Gondola. Nick was always so stoked to be snowboarding. His energy on a snowboard was distinct. He was known for his favorite trick, the frontside board slide.’
