What is
Donate-A-Deck?!

One of our ongoing projects is to collect lightly used skateboard decks and protective gear that we will provide to two different skate programs through our partnership with 5024 General Store - a local skate shop in Lacombe, Alberta.

Blackfalds Family & Community Support Service (FCSS) and Ever Active (Ever Active Schools - Supporting Healthy School Communities) are two organizations that provide barrier-free drop in skateboard lessons and skateboard camps to youth in the community who may not have access to these opportunities due to financial limitations. 5024 General Store and The Nick Project have committed to supplying lightly used decks and gear for these lessons and camps. We will also pass along equipment for youth to keep if they decide to stick with it!
